Greetings from my office in J.F. Oberlin University, located in Tokyo, Japan. I am currently teaching English as a second language to about 100 college students as part of a two-year fellowship. Education is as big a part of my life now as it was seventeen years ago, when I was a bouncy ball of kindergartener at Montessori Children's House. Even after all these years, I still remember how much fun I had learning to read using those tiny wooden planks, and learning to multiply and divide by playing fun  games involving smiley faces. Montessori Children's House instilled in me a love of learning that helped me become the salutatorian of my high school, graduate with high honors from Oberlin College, a prestigious liberal arts institution, and become an assistant professor of English at age 22. And I still love learning so much that I intend to get a doctoral degree in the near future. I am so grateful to Montessori Children's House for setting me on the path to scholastic success.

Love you!

:) Lissette
